Best glass clarity of the class

For this price, there's hardly any other red dots that I've used with such superb glass quality, it puts my friend's Sig Romeo 4T and Aimpoint M5 to shame, both would have more lense tint than the MakDot S.
Utilizing a single AAA battery, that is easily obtainable in about anywhere, the spec on the package boasts of a battery life of 3 years, which is roughly 24,000 hours, this may be because the LED module needs more power to project a crisp 2 MOA dot on a nearly completely transparent lense.
Footprint wise it is completely compatible with Aimpoint T1/ T2 / M5 mounting pattern so I have quickly switched over to my KAC 2.27 inch super tall mount for gas mask/ NVG use.
Turrets are exposed, they are also very stiff, it should be able to with stand some abuse, but in long term capped turrets would give me a little more comfort.
Overall
Pros:
+ Superb glass quality, glass look as if their are completely transparent with almost absolutely no tint
+ Crisp 2 MOA dot
+ Aimpoint T1 pattern mount
+ AAA battery (easy to obtain)
+ Comes with caps and QD mount
Cons:
- AAA battery (probably need replacing every year so the alkaline batteries dont leak)
- Slightly Shorter battery life by today's standards (says 3 years on box, so 24x365x3 = ~ 24,000 hours? )
- Exposed turrets, easier to adjust but would prefer capped ones
- Overall slightly bigger (wider) than most competitors ( because of the size of housing and battery compartment)
