Very Clear Enjoyable Shooting Experience

Clarity/ Shooter experience:
Meopta has been in the glass game since the 1930's. The glass comes with multiple coatings and its clarity is immediately noticeable. Far superior with hardly noticeable tint, only noticeable against white lite area. The 3 MOA is crisp dot and shooter experience this is a winner. If anyone can compare the view of the ZD dot to the pistol size Meored with Doctor Optic footprints please add a comment.
Mount:
This comes with a low mount that is very useful, and also an optional riser for lower 1/3. Its a solid QD mount. No extra costs for after market needed.
Durability:
This is waterproof and very solid. I have do not plan on beating it but this is designed for duty use. I have no doubts this is durable. The hooded shroud protects it from impact and also projects in front of the glass.
Battery life:
Battery life not so much. Its advertised on max setting 520 hours. However it has an auto shut off. It is much easier to change this battery with its scope like cap that sits on top. No rezero trust issues. Screw driver/coin fits in the slit, with a small finger scoop cut on the side. Its looks are Form meeting function. Within 2 months of owning Holosun, the "50k battery life" had to change its battery to find the reticle simply stopped working while stowed for unknown reason.
Technology:
This is an older model but offers a crisper 3 MOA red dot VS Trijicon MRO and Holosun models. I have slight astigmatism and this presents the best so far. The ZD does have auto off after 3hrs if the button is not touched. It does not have shake-awake. However, the placement of its front button is intuitive and can be quickly turned on with a hook of the finger without looking. The thing about HS shake awake is that it's married to the auto brightness mode. Auto brightness sounds cool until you hit a weapon light in a dark room to experience momentary wash out (no viewable reticle). I delete the shake awake to disable auto bright feature. So moot point for me.
I would consider the glass and its coatings part of technology cause it is "science". Less noticeable tint on the glass where the MRO in comparison is so bad it darkens areas. One of the Meopta coatings is Meobright, which allows the glass to collect more image. Meobright coating is appreciated on an actual scope at dusk, but this does enhance the picture. Other included coatings on this glass are anti scratch, anti-smear/liquid repealing.
