Red reflections at low power By

I have a 1-7x28 Blaser, and find the scope has a red ring and red spot at around 8 pm. It appears to be a good scope apart from this issue of red reflections at low x.
No joy from local agents, these scopes are not cheap and one would expect a higher standard.
