I am a 6.5 creedmoor bench rest shooter. Depending on the day I shoot between a bit better than 1/2 moa to moa at distances between 300 and 800m in te gusty conditions of the south cetral Arizona hills. Three different rifles- a RPR wits prof Natel a Savage hunting rife ad uhh end custom target rifle I use 3 different scopes. A Vortex razor 7/27x56 Nightforce Atcar 7/36x56 and a March Genesis 6/60x56. There is a big difference between the razor and the atcar. The atcar is much crisper in all light conditions. The reticle is more distinct and easier to see even against black backgrounds. The razor is complicated and awkward to zero in. Then there is the March. I thought the difference between the razor and the atcar was significant. The difference between the atcar and the genesis is even more dramatic. Boredight zero in at 50m 2 shots. 1st 5 cm below and 2 cm right. Adjusted reticle to the hole and bullseye 2nd shot. Then out to 100 m. Adjusted elevation as to my Kestrel elite - easy to do exactly with the .05 mrad adjustment. A bit high because of my hot 120 gr Hornady ELD match ammunition. Same adjustment method. Barely off bullseye center. Razor and atcar are eachabout 4 k. Genesis is 6k. This March is a whole new universe.
